The Turtle Restaurant: Set amidst tall palm trees, lush green vegetation and flowering shrubs, the Turtle Restaurant is our main restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every morning the day's menu is posted, along with the evening's barbecue menu. Choose ahead where and what you want to eat. The Turtle Restaurant offers an array of mouth-watering dishes including fish and meat dishes. We promise you'll never be bored. Twice a week the Turtle Restaurant hosts a theme night, offering an International Buffet every Monday and an A La Carte Barbecue or Cold Buffet every alternate Thursday.


• Griller Restaurant/ Barbecue Terrace: Dine out under the stars right next to the ocean. So close in fact that you can dip your toes in the sea and watch the crabs scuttle across the sand while you dine. Set on the Barbecue Terrace overlooking the ocean you will find that there is something different happening here every day. Every lunchtime one corner is set aside as Pizza Corner, and lovers of this Italian food can refuel themselves in the middle of the day.
  
  But at night you can expect something very different. This is definitely fun dining, barbecue-style in the best possible setting. Every night of the week the Griller offers a change of taste sensations, ranging from an Italian or seafood buffet, to an A La Carte or Mongolian barbecue, and a barbecue buffet. • Lagoon Restaurant (Coffee Shop: Overlooking the beach, dining in the Lagoon Restaurant is an experience not to be missed. Have a light lunch, or dine late into the night while you gaze out over the lagoon. A wooden deck where you can sit and sip coffee after your meal extends out from the restaurant. This is one of the most popular haunts at sunset when guests gather to watch as the sun slips below the horizon. During this special Sunset Cocktail Hour you can enjoy one of the special cocktails before sitting down to dine.
  
  The menu offers a variety of dishes ranging from salads, burgers and sandwiches, pasta and omelettes, as well as a meat, fish, Asian and vegetarian selection. In addition, the Lagoon Restaurant has a Flambant menu for two people, offered each night, when the chef will prepare a meal over the flame right at your table. The Lagoon Restaurant also offers room service until 2.00 am. For the night owls.
  
  
• The Palm Garden Restaurant: This intimate little eating place is open for lunch and dinner, and specialises in a range of tantalising tastes from the Asian continent. So many, in fact, that you may not know where to begin. The decor is all Oriental to complete the atmosphere, and you can take your pick from our own local Maldivian dishes, or adventure out and enjoy Sri Lankan, Indian, Indonesian, Thai or Chinese fare. Each cuisine offers a selection of typical dishes from the country, and all prepared with the Baros Resort's special flair. On alternate Saturdays the Palm Garden hosts an Asian buffet where you can sample different tastes from all over the Asian continent, and on alternate Wednesdays there is a Maldivian buffet held here, when tables spill out into the gardens and everyone has a good time.
  
  
• The Captains Bar: Wander into this recreated 18th century captain's upper deck, with its old wood and brass wheel as a centrepiece, and you might almost believe that you are sitting in Captain Barnacle's wheelhouse. Sit back and enjoy a refreshing drink with the captain as the boat steers its course over a motionless sea. Sitting on the carefully chosen wooden ship's furniture, the barman can offer you a range of pretty mean cocktails from his well-stocked bar. See if you can drink the captain under the table. If you prefer the open sea air, stroll outside and sit under the waving palms while enjoying the balmy evening air. The atmosphere of this bar is warm and friendly, inviting you to strike up conversations and make new friends.
